Position Overview
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated mid-level Commercial Real Estate and Finance Attorney to join a dynamic and growing boutique law practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex transactions and provide legal counsel on various commercial real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate documentation related to the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of mixed-use, retail, office, multifamily, and hospitality properties.
- Handle purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and other essential real estate-related contracts.
- Provide counsel on various financing arrangements, including cash-flow transactions, asset-based transactions, bridge lending, and mezzanine financing.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, providing tailored legal advice.
- Take an active role in chairing transactions and managing deals, supported by our experienced team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance.
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial real estate and finance-related documents.
- Experience with diverse financing arrangements (e.g., cash-flow, asset-based, mezzanine financing) is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a solid attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and lead transactions with confidence and competence.
- A genuine interest and curiosity about the business of commercial real estate development, and finance and lending.
- Experience working in a sophisticated law firm environment is strongly preferred.
