Description
- Handle all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and finance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate contracts and documents such as purchase agreements, leases, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Provide counsel to clients on various commercial real estate matters, including land use, zoning, and environmental issues.
- Manage due diligence efforts, including title, survey, and environmental reviews.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes.
- Stay current with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations impacting commercial real estate.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Minnesota.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, in a law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and finance, with a track record of handling complex real estate deals.
- Open to all commercial real estate experience including finance; representing loan servicers on multifamily agency loan consent requests, transfers, loan assumptions, condemnations, partial releases, and property improvements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and transactions simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong business acumen and ability to provide strategic advice tailored to clients' needs.
