The Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for developing and managing a commercial loan portfolio while serving as a trusted advisor to business owners and professionals across the market. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, including C&I, owner-occupied CRE, and investor real estate
- Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, and community involvement
- Structure credit requests, analyze financial statements, and present loans for approval
- Partner closely with credit administration, underwriting, and loan operations teams
- Maintain strong asset quality and portfolio performance
- Cross-sell deposit, treasury management, and other bank services
- Represent the bank professionally within the local business community
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience in a bank or credit environment
- Proven ability to originate and manage commercial relationships
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, cash flow, and risk management
- Experience working within a community or regional bank preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
