Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager / Marketing Specialist
to support a growing commercial insurance team focused exclusively on
medium to large accounts
. This is a generalist role responsible for both
new business and renewal marketing
, working closely with producers and leadership to ensure successful placement and retention of complex commercial accounts.
What You Will Be Doing
- Market commercial accounts for two producers (subject to change based on business needs)
- Manage the end-to-end marketing process, including submissions, quoting, applications, and carrier negotiations
- Handle new business and renewal marketing for medium to large accounts ranging from $100K-$1M in premium
- Support a diverse book of business with a strong concentration in contractors and a large real estate account
- Collaborate with producers and team leadership to ensure timely and competitive placements
- Assist with training initiatives and provide support to the broader team as needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of insurance agency experience (agency background required)
- Strong working knowledge of the commercial insurance marketing lifecycle
- Experience working with medium to large commercial accounts
- Epic experience preferred
- Familiarity with Indio (Commercial Lines program) preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule & Environment
- Onsite preferred during initial training period
- After 90 days, position may transition to a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / 3 days remote)
- Employees who choose to remain onsite may be eligible for an additional salary increase, with expectations around training support and team collaboration
