Commercial Glass Estimator / Project Manager

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glass Estimator / Project Manager to help estimate and manage commercial glass and glazing projects from the initial bid through completion.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial glass, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, entrances, or commercial doors. We are also open to candidates with strong commercial construction estimating and project management experience who have experience reading plans, coordinating with contractors, and managing projects from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of projects while playing an important role in both winning new work and successfully completing awarded projects.

What You'll Do

• Estimate commercial glass, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, and door projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Complete accurate material takeoffs and project pricing
• Manage projects from award through completion
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and field crews
• Order and track materials and monitor project schedules
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Track project costs, timelines, and overall progress
• Communicate with customers and internal teams throughout each project
• Identify potential issues early and help develop practical solutions
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience estimating and/or managing commercial glass and glazing projects
• Experience with storefront, curtain wall, entrances, commercial doors, or similar systems preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Experience with takeoffs, estimating, and project pricing
• Ability to manage multiple bids and active projects
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• Comfortable working with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and field personnel
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Ability to take ownership of projects and make sound decisions
  
  

Commercial glass and glazing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong commercial construction estimating or project management experience are encouraged to apply. The right candidate should be comfortable reading plans, managing projects, and be willing to learn the commercial glass industry.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000-$125,000 per year, depending on experience
