We Are Open To a Variety Of Backgrounds, Including
- Project Engineers with strong estimating exposure or rotations
- Assistant Project Managers or PM/Estimators looking to transition into a dedicated estimating role
- Estimators coming from commercial or multifamily construction backgrounds
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up commercial construction projects
- Perform quantity take-offs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids
- Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimates, and value engineering
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and ownership during preconstruction
- Identify cost risks and opportunities throughout the bidding process
- Maintain accurate documentation and estimate tracking
- 3 years of experience in estimating or a related construction role
- Experience with ground-up construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Experience with takeoff and estimating software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Industry-leading retention and team stability
- Clear growth path within preconstruction/estimating
- Exposure to a wide variety of project types
