What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
- Interpret complex blueprints, program sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, and related machining operations to close tolerances.
- Complete machine setups, changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
- Inspect and gauge finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for machines, tooling, and parts.
- Work collaboratively with the production team while maintaining dependable attendance.
- At least 3 years of CNC mill and/or CNC lathe experience.
- Strong blueprint-reading, measurement, inspection, and gaging skills.
- Experience in a low-volume, high-mix job-shop environment is preferred.
- Multi-axis mill or machining-center experience is a plus.
- Manual mill or manual lathe experience is a plus.
- A team-oriented attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attendance.
