Position Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and other precision machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and make process improvements
- Maintain tight tolerances while producing quality components efficiently
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Follow established safety, quality, and production standards
- 3 years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC setup and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement techniques
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- CNC milling and turning
- Swiss CNC machining
- Tool & Die manufacturing
- Gear manufacturing or precision grinding
- Multi-axis machining
- Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Mori Seiki, or similar controls
- First article inspection and quality documentation
