Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee outsourced accounting engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting processes for accuracy and completeness
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing accounting guidance and financial insights
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Identify opportunities to improve client accounting workflows and reporting processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Review work completed by accounting staff and provide mentorship and guidance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive accounting and advisory solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience managing client accounting relationships or outsourced accounting services preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members
$75,000 - $95,000, based on experience
