Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

A respected Northern Virginia law firm is looking for a civil litigation defense attorney to join its growing litigation team. You'll handle your own caseload from start to finish, get real time in court, and learn from experienced trial attorneys.

What You'll Do

• Defend individuals and businesses in civil matters in Virginia state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Manage a caseload and report regularly to clients and insurance carriers
• Work closely with partners on case strategy and trial preparation
  
  

What You Bring

• 1 to 5 years of civil litigation experience, with defense experience preferred
• Admission to the Virginia Bar
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow as a litigator
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive base salary, depending on experience
• Hybrid or fully in office in Fairfax, VA, whichever you prefer
