Gpac has partnered with a law firm in Madison that is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5 years of experience to join their growing practice. What You'll Do
- Manage litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
- Represent clients in trust, estate, probate, and other civil litigation matters.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Develop effective litigation strategies based on the unique needs of each case.
- Advise clients on complex legal issues and keep them informed throughout the process.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional legal representation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the Wisconsin state bar.
- 5 years of litigation experience.
- Strong background in civil litigation; trust and estates experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to provide excellent client service.
