- Oversee and lead the estimating department, managing all preconstruction and bid activities
- Develop and implement estimating strategies for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
- Review complex project specifications, drawings, and scope to ensure accurate, competitive bids
- Provide executive-level insight into project budgets, cost control, and bid presentation to leadership
- Mentor, train, and oversee the work of junior and senior estimators, ensuring departmental growth and consistency
- Establish and maintain key relationships with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure competitive pricing and repeat business
- 10 years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor
- Proven track record of leadership in an estimating or preconstruction management role
- Expertise in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects (multi-million-dollar range)
- Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, Conest, or similar)
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to influence and strategize at an executive level
