Position Overview

This attorney will handle a variety of business disputes from initial strategy through trial and appeal, with opportunities for meaningful courtroom experience and direct client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Handle business and commercial disputes through all stages of litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings
- Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare matters for trial
- Assist with litigation strategy and case development
- Prepare for and participate in trials and appellate matters
- Appear before Georgia Superior and State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments
- Manage assigned matters and take ownership of work product
- 2-5 years of litigation experience
- Experience with business disputes preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients
- Desire to develop strong courtroom and trial skills
- Georgia Bar admission required
