Our firm is seeking a motivated Attorney with strong litigation or pre-litigation experience to join our growing Toxic Torts team. Prior experience in toxic torts, asbestos, or silica is not required-we provide full training and mentorship. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a background in general liability, insurance defense, or related areas who is eager to expand their practice into a specialized field.
In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, work directly with clients, and gain hands-on experience handling cases from inception through resolution. You'll be supported by a collaborative team while developing the skills needed to excel in toxic tort litigation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation, and other forums
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide practical, solutions-focused legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements and help resolve disputes efficiently and effectively
- Develop strategies to minimize client risk and exposure
- 2 years of litigation experience (toxic torts experience a plus, but not required)
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong negotiation, communication, and legal writing skills
- Background in insurance defense, general liability, or employment defense helpful but not required
- Licensed to practice in California and in good standing
- J.D. from an accredited law school
