A well-established, highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team!
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with diverse commercial construction projects while working alongside experienced industry leaders.
Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Support project budgets, scheduling, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field teams.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Assist with estimating, bidding, procurement, and subcontractor buyout.
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Participate in site visits, owner meetings, and project closeout.
- 2 years of construction management, project engineering, or project management experience.
- Commercial general contracting experience preferred.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Understanding of construction drawings, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
