What You'll Do
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business utilizing a hunter mindset.
- Manage and grow client relationships by offering integrated logistics solutions.
- Coordinate diverse freight solutions including FTL, LTL, Intermodal (Rail), Food Grade Tankers, Air/Ocean, Heavyhaul, Flatbed, Dry, and Temperature-Controlled loads across the US, Canada, Mexico, and global markets.
- Negotiate competitive rates to save clients time and money.
- Experience: 2-3 years of successful sales experience.
- Industry Background: Direct experience working within a non-asset based 3PL or freight forwarding company is highly preferred.
- Roles: Background as a Sales Representative, Freight Broker, or Account Manager.
- Mindset: A self-motivated hunter who thrives on closing deals and is driven by commission milestones.
- Geography: Must reside within driving distance of the Central Coast (ideal regions include Bakersfield, Tulare, Fresno, or Santa Maria, CA) for occasional mandatory on-site meetings.
- Competitive base salary ($70,000 - $80,000 DOE).
