What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Instructor (Industrial) position at GP Strategies Corporation?
Electrical instructor will be assigned existing electrical courses to teach to our clients, as well as some development of electrical courses. Clients are industrial, typically heavy manufacturing plants. Primary work location is in MIchigan, but but assigned teaching duties will require up to 75% travel (all travel expenses paid).
Ability to teach and industrial electrical experience in most of the following areas:
- Basic Electricity
- Electrical Safety
- Arc Flash/NFPA 70E
- Motors (DC, Three phase and Single Phase)
- Motor Controls
- Transformers
- PLCs (RSLogix preferred) (Optional)
- Variable frequency drives (Optional)
- Conduit Bending (Optional)
- Wiring (optional)
- Electronics
- Instrumentation/Process Controls
US Navy Nuke Electricians Mate preferred.
