CNC Press Brake Setup/Operator (Guaranteed Overtime)(Air Conditioned Shop)

We are a growing precision sheet metal fabricator, looking for an experienced CNC Laser Setup/Operator.

This is a Day Shift position. (6:00am - 4:30pm) We work 50 hours per week. 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday. (10 hours of guaranteed overtime every week.)

You’ll ensure the efficient running of a CNC press brake. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC press brakes to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. back gauge, tonnage, etc.)
• Operate machine safely
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units of final products
• Daily machine preventative maintenance
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
