Position Overview
Parkline Motors is seeking a motivated, reliable Automotive Mechanic to support vehicle inspections, equipment upkeep, and shop operations. This role does not involve mechanical diagnosis or repair work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify cosmetic, safety, or mechanical concerns for reporting
- Perform vehicle reconditioning tasks as assigned
- Support shop operations and maintain an organized, safe work environment
- Operate and maintain shop and automotive equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- General knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to identify issues without performing diagnosis or repairs
- Experience working in an automotive shop or dealership environment
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team setting
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts; some Saturdays as needed
