GP Generate is seeking a Media Supervisor to join our growing media team, leading the strategic planning and execution for multiple high-profile Automotive Brands across both General Market and Multi-Cultural Initiatives.
This hybrid role is located in our Mar Vista office and offers an exciting opportunity to deeply engage in the fast-paced realms of digital, social, and traditional media planning while driving impactful results.
As an integral senior member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing campaign development, managing media buys, and ensuring precision and punctual delivery. You will work closely with the Associate Media Director, while actively managing and mentoring Media Planners and Assistant Media Planners across digital, paid social, online video/CTV, programmatic, paid search, experiential, and select traditional channels.
You will play a critical role in ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, optimized effectively, and delivered on time—helping the team maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and accountability. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to mentor junior talent within a fast-paced agency environment. What You'll Do
- Lead Campaign Strategy & Execution: Oversee the development, execution, and management of integrated media campaigns across multiple automotive brands. Guide the planning activity for assigned accounts to assure top-tier quality.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and give direction to Media Planners, Coordinators, and Assistant Media Planners. Conduct information gathering for employee performance reviews to support team growth.
- Vendor & Media Partner Relations: Negotiate print media buys and interact with publication sales managers, as well as spot radio, television and digital sales representatives on both a local and national level.
- Data & Competitive Analysis: Oversee major data gathering and proposal evaluations for high-level media plans. Monitor competitive activity, translating market insights into actionable reports for account services and clients.
- Campaign & Financial Oversight: Maintain strict precision over billing, budgeting, and reconciliation workflows. Monitor campaign performance, track pacing, and quickly resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Client & Meeting Management: Actively participate in and attend client status meetings and appropriate industry media seminars, effectively presenting data and strategic takeaways.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Advertising, Marketing, or a related field is a plus).
- Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated Media Planning experience required.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Google Workspace, internet software, and media research-specific platforms.
- Reasoning Ability: Strong common sense understanding to efficiently carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve standardized problems.
- Work Environment & Physical Demands: This position operates in a normal office environment with occasional travel required to supported markets or clients. Employees must regularly communicate (talk and hear), sit, walk, and use hands/fingers to handle tools or spreadsheets. Pay & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (DOE)
