Construction QA/QC Agent - STL

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a QA/QC Agent to add to our Goyette Mechanical Construction Division for a construction project in New Florence, MO. Specifically, we are looking for local candidates with a construction background and/or experience in construction management or mechanical project management.

This is a full-time, non-union salaried position with benefits.

Work location available: New Florence, MO

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Perform walk throughs of the work being done to make sure that work is installed to a quality standard and to code/spec

·         Record accurate observations into a spreadsheet or computer database (Procore).

·         Communicate observations to the QA/QC Team Manager and applicable personnel so they can respond to them promptly

·         Report to the site project manager to keep them advised of QA/QC activities, observations, and their completion status

·         Attend and engage in QA/QC meetings and jobsite walks.

·         Maintain good customer relationships and problem-solve as issues arise.

·         Contribute knowledge, information, best practices, and lessons learned as part of the Construction QA/QC Team.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

·        ·          Principally field work on Construction job sites; some time spent in office or onsite job trailer for admin & logistics.

·        ·         Job requires occasional work at-heights and occasional work outside to include in inclement weather.

·       ·           Medium duty: Prolonged standing, crouching, and movement on foot across unimproved terrain throughout work site.

·       ·           On-site transportation provided, when available.
