Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist participates in the development of the brand's marketing team objectives to support overall brand strategies/goals, with a focus on go-to-market campaign support and local marketing support. This position is responsible for overall support of the marketing team, including tactical support of go-to-market brand campaigns, new store openings, local store marketing, analytical storytelling and reporting, and shares in the responsibility of communicating brand marketing initiatives to the franchise system. This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and our offices follow a hybrid work model.
Essential Functions
Ability to travel overnight approximately 15% annually

Essential Functions
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Campaign Support
- Support go-to-market (GTM) process for each campaign window for the brand by directly supporting the Brand Marketing Manager in completing the necessary steps in the process.
- Actively participate in marketing meetings, assisting with notetaking and action items.
- Monitor marketing calendar timelines, aiding in the communications to broader team when deadlines are impending.
- Aid in coordination and organization of creative assets for both in-store and online purposes for the full promotional brand calendar.
- Local Marketing Support
- In tandem with other marketing team members, support the execution of local marketing initiatives across franchisee and company owned stores.
- Own the Local Store Marketing inbox by responding to inquiries, providing guidance, and connecting operators with appropriate resources.
- Provide marketing support for new store openings, grand re-openings, relocations, and store transfers.
- Create and manage project briefs in Workfront and digital platforms (e.g. jotform) to ensure accurate and complete intake of marketing and digital requests.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and cross-functional communications remain on track
- Work with Primary Color and other printing and shipping vendors to ensure available inventory of assets and materials for local store marketing (Focal Point).
- Support the organization and maintenance of marketing tools, templates, and resources on The Hub and Focal Point.
- Basic creative editing experience is preferred, with the ability to make minor edits or support creative development as needed. Working knowledge of Powerpoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva is a plus.
- Digital & Off-Premise Support
- Support digital marketing initiatives and ad-hoc projects to enhance the customer journey across Moe's digital properties and third party platforms
- Support in the creation and implementation of digital assets
- Participate in the organization and maintenance of brand team & franchisee training materials for Digital & Off-Premise
- Support the team with digital & off-premise GTM initiatives, providing assistance throughout the process as needed
- Develop a basic understanding of operational and business metrics related to digital marketing and off-premise promotions
- General Marketing Support
- Work with agency partners to support national campaigns as well as market tests
- Work with menu board vendors and franchisees to support menu board content updates
- Create communications calendar and communications for Franchisees regarding to marketing-related updates and campaign-updates in a timely manner
- Create and coordinate monthly and project-based reports for the brand team and present results and insights
- Write, edit and proofread marketing materials for distribution to the franchise system
- Miscellaneous or special brand and marketing projects as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree, Marketing, public relations, communications, business, advertising, or other related field of study, Pref
- 0-2 years' experience in brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate in clear concise language; to demonstrate active listening while engaging others; and to present to key stakeholders in a relevant and compelling manner
- Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g, senior management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
- Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g, internal and external customers, etc.) in a timely manner
- Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met; and to effectively prioritize work
- Ability to write clearly and informatively; to edit work for spelling and grammar; to read and accurately interpret written information; and varies writing style to meet needs
