What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent (Offsites) position at Gothic Landscape?
*This position supports our Offsites Department.
Highlights of what our Landscape Construction Superintendent will do:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by providing technical guidance for field personnel
- Conduct percent of completion analysis to ensure project are on budget
- Partner with foremen to ensure materials and labor for project needs are met
- Build relationship with clients and field personnel by conducting weekly job walks
- Understand client needs and identify cost effective enhancements to ensure profitability
- Communicate with onsite Superintendents to provide updates on project progress
- Strategize how to improve project performance and exceed goals
- Coordinate subcontracts and review scope to identify possible scope gap
- Awareness of allocated project hours at all times and provide to Foreman
Skills & experience that are necessary will include, but not limited to:
- At least 3 years of construction experience
- Experience working in land development, landscape, and/or masonry/concrete trades preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Ability to read and understand plans, material lists, guidelines and meet timelines
- Must have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency, including Microsoft Excel
