Administers respiratory care procedures that have been successfully completed in the respiratory care program curriculum and that have been documented.  Provides respiratory care procedures on adult patients that are not in critical condition.  Must be supervised by a licensed IN Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education                    High school graduate or equivalent.  Currently enrolled as a 2^nd year respiratory therapy student in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.

Preferred Education                    Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy Program at an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience         2^nd year respiratory therapy student.

Preferred Experience        

Certifications Required      AHA BLS certified. Licensed Respiratory Therapy Student by state of IN.

Certifications Preferred      AHA ACLS
