Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or other commercial vehicles for deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required
- Collaborate with team members to improve delivery processes and efficiency
Experience
experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable
- Background in warehouse operations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems
