We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver products and packages across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, or pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to verify its safety and readiness for daily routes
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness in the loading area
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Follow route schedules precisely, adjusting plans as needed to meet delivery deadlines
- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports accurately
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in warehouse operations, including heavy lifting, moving, and equipment operation such as dollies ,ratchet straps ,pallet jacksetc
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
- Familiarity with courier services or load & unload procedures is advantageous
