Partnership Program Student Worker
Reports to: Partnership Program Administrator
Location: Hamilton or Charlotte
Status: Student Worker (Part-Time, 15-20 hours)
Position Summary
The Partnership Program Student Worker provides administrative and operational support to the Partnership Program. This position assists with record-keeping, database maintenance, student reporting, communications, and general office functions to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. The student worker works closely with the Partnership Program Administrator while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all assigned tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrative Support
• Assist with daily administrative tasks and email correspondence
• Answer or route general inquiries as directed.
• Prepare mailings, packets, and other printed materials
• Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
Database Support
• Create and update donor and student records in the appropriate databases.
• Help prepare welcome materials.
Student Support
• Assist with preparing weekly student fundraising reports.
• Help maintain student records and documentation.
• Support communication with students regarding routine administrative needs.
• Assist with tracking program deadlines and required documentation.
• Support applicants in the application process
• Onboard new students
Program Support
• Assist with preparing reports and spreadsheets.
• Help maintain organized electronic filing systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in administrative processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Partnership Program.
Required Qualifications
• Current Gordon-Conwell student in good academic standing.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential financial and student information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and using databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently after receiving instruction.
• Dependable, professional, and service-oriented.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or database systems.
• Previous administrative or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to perform typical office tasks including filing, scanning, mailing, and event setup as needed.
