This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wausau, WI, for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations, including supervising team members, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting equipment issues. This individual will ensure the efficient functioning of all machinery and systems, coordinate repair activities, and implement maintenance improvements to meet company standards. They will also work to uphold safety regulations, optimize equipment performance, and support production efficiency.
- Proven Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead and manage a maintenance team effectively
- Expertise in Equipment Maintenance, including diagnosing technical problems and ensuring operational efficiency
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance to plan and perform scheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Strong background in Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to implement solutions and maintain standards
- Knowledge of occupational safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in the manufacturing or aluminum extrusion industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or technical training preferred
