This isn’t your average loan processor role. At GoRascal, our Processors (internally Loan Partners) are true collaborators and problem solvers who drive the file forward while keeping every stakeholder informed and supported. You’ll act as the central point of contact across the loan lifecycle, proactively identifying potential roadblocks, managing timelines, and ensuring every file is clean, complete, and ready for submission.

- Accurately calculate income, assets, and structure loans in compliance with agency and investor guidelines. Stack and submit clean, complete files to underwriting.
- Proactively communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, underwriters, and attorneys. Provide timely, consistent updates to all parties—anticipating questions before they arise.
- Own your pipeline by following up on outstanding items, anticipating UW conditions and requesting needs from all parties to meet all deadlines, and keeping every file moving smoothly toward closing.
- Request and obtain loan conditions from borrowers with clear, supportive communication. Make it easy for borrowers to understand what’s needed and why.
- Partner with loan officers to ensure proper loan structuring and alignment with borrower goals. Raise red flags early and offer solutions.
- Deliver an exceptional borrower experience with a sense of urgency, empathy, and ownership. Treat every file as if it were your own home loan.
- 2 years of experience as a Loan Processor, Loan Partner, Loan Officer Assistant, or Loan Officer
- Strong understanding of agency guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA); broker channel experience preferred
- Proficiency in DU, LP, and calculating income and assets across various borrower profiles
- Highly organized and dependable; you excel at juggling multiple files without losing attention to detail
- Clear, concise, and warm communicator who keeps stakeholders informed without being prompted
- A proactive problem-solver who foresees potential delays and takes initiative to avoid them
- Customer-obsessed with a passion for making the loan process easier, smoother, and more transparent
- Licensed MLO (or willingness to become licensed) is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish preferred, but not required
