We are hiring a part-time Baker for an on-site position in Pleasant Grove, Utah. This position will primarily work Sundays, Mondays, & Tuesdays with the possibility of additional shifts as needed.
The Baker will prepare, bake, portion and finish brownies and blondies according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include weighing and measuring ingredients, mixing batter, operating commercial bakery equipment, monitoring baking times, preparing toppings and fillings, portioning finished products and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
The Baker will work independently after training while collaborating with our small team to meet production goals and maintain consistent product quality.
Pay is $12–$15 per hour, depending on experience.
- Consistent availability on Sundays, Mondays, & Tuesdays.
- Current Utah food handler permit required
- Previous baking or food-service experience preferred
- Commercial bakery or kitchen experience is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and weigh ingredients accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent results
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation and cross-contact prevention
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete production tasks independently
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift ingredients, equipment and trays weighing up to 30 pounds
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate and collaborate with a small team
- Formal culinary or baking training is welcomed but not required
