Key Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of lab associates to ensure accurate and timely completion of testing, as well as adherence to Goodyear policies and procedures.
- Grade and release all finished products within the plant.
- Purchasing of supplies and service agreements, including communication and work with vendors.
- Manage quality systems, including calibration and maintenance of equipment and building.
- Support plant functions as it pertains to the QA laboratory, including issuing permits, participating in ISO9001 and internal quality audits, and attending weekly meetings.
