What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Busser position at Goodwood Brewing Company?
Title: Food Runner/Busser
Reports To: General Manager
Summary of Position:
We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced restaurant food runners and/or bussers to maintain and enhance the quality of our customer service. You will work in close collaboration with leadership and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
● Assist service team with table setting by sanitizing and placing appropriate tableware, when needed.
● Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
● Remove discarded dishes from tables and place in proper sanitation locations.
● Answer guest’s questions and offer assistance, when possible.
● Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
● Maintain clean service areas and make sure all service areas are stocked throughout shift.
● Practice teamwork and collaboration within the Goodwood Brewing Company team.
● Be ready and willing to assist all team members, when needed.
● Attend scheduled meetings.
● Willingness to learn about the Goodwood Brewing Company brand, history, and products.
Requirements:
● Reliable transportation
● Experience with Toast point-of-sale system is a plus
