What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax - Mid-Level Associate position at Goodwin?
Goodwin seeks a highly qualified associate (J.D. Class 2022-2023) to join our Tax practice. Candidates should have 3-4 years of experience in general transactional tax work. The tax group works closely with the firm's corporate practice and advises clients on a variety of tax matters including corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; partnerships, LLCs and other joint ventures; private equity and private equity fund formation; real estate, real estate fund formation and real estate investment trusts; regulated investment companies; and financing and capital markets transactions.
Candidates must have general experience both working in teams and in managing substantial components of transactions independently, along with outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
