Sous Chef Qualifications
- Experience in Fast-Paced, High-Volume Upscale/Fine Dining (min 3 years)
- Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work to all guests and team members
- Ability to produce a quality and consistent product, executing all the details, and focusing on daily operations
- Plate presentation and standards
- Organization and cost & product control are essential, in addition to ensuring the kitchen meets all health department standards for safe food handling
- 3-4 years experience as a member of a culinary management team in an upscale, high-volume or high-end fine dining
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and knowledge of Aloha POS is preferred
- Willing to lead by example and have the ability to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve personnel and production issues
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef preferably in a high-end, fine-dining establishment
