We are a growing Eastern Long Island-based firm looking for a NY Professional Structural Engineer to join our team. We would relocate you to the beautiful Hamptons on the East End of Long Island. This person has 5–10 years of experience with HIGH-END residential experience. This role is in the field where our culture is hardworking, honest, and collaborative. Structural Engineer Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years of Structural Residential Engineering experience.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude and ability to work well with other professionals and contractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, and figures.
• Experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, erosion & sediment control.
• Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.
• Experience preparing design drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction training is a plus.
  
  

Structural Engineer Qualifications

• Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects
• Conducting site visits and assisting with construction oversight
• Civil engineering for site design including grading and drainage design, and utility design site
• Assist with the preparation of permitting, design, and construction documents
• Preparing plans and technical documents and reports
