Civil Engineer -Site Development Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (PE)
• 4 years' experience as project manager or staff engineer
• Experience in Site Development / Land Development
  
  

Civil Engineer -Site Development Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in Utility Design, Stormwater Management

• Salary $85 - 130k depending on experience

Civil Engineer (PE)-Site Development

• Analyze survey, mapping and materials-testing data with computer modeling software
• Project Management
• Draw blueprints, using CAD packages
• Create engineered drawings for proposed improvements
• Ensure that engineered drawings and project solutions meet local requirements, state laws, and generally accepted engineering best management practices
• Asses construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis.
• Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
• Prepare bids for vendors, and reporting to clients, public agencies and planning bodies
• Manage, direct and monitor progress during each phase of a project
• Ensure sites meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements.
• Present findings to the public on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or property descriptions.
• Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
• Participate in the development of proposals
