Quality Manager – Manufacturing (Hands-On Leader)

We’re hiring a hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality across manufacturing operations and global suppliers. This is a high-visibility, working leadership role—you’ll be on the production floor daily, solving problems, improving processes, and driving measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Own daily quality performance on the production floor—investigate defects, lead containment, and fix root causes
- Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and CAPA processes
- Lead supplier quality & audits (domestic international) and drive corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with retailer standards, QAFA, and SMETA audits
- Analyze data to reduce scrap, rework, returns, and customer complaints
- Lead continuous improvement / Lean initiatives and build KPI tracking
- 10 years of manufacturing quality experience (hands-on leadership required)
- Metal and Consumer Products manufacturing experience (required)
- Experience with QAFA and SMETA audits (required)
- Strong background in root cause analysis, process control, and supplier quality
- Ability to work directly on the production floor in a fast-paced environment
- Lean / Six Sigma and ERP experience (SAP a plus)
- High-impact role with direct influence on product quality and operations
- Opportunity to lead supplier and factory improvements globally
- Visible leadership position with strong partnership across Operations, Sourcing, and Product teams
