Medical Director Veterinarian Requirements

• DVM/VMD Degree: Licensed (or ability to obtain licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in the state.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing veterinary teams, including mentoring and coaching.
• Clinical Excellence: Skilled in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of companion animal medical conditions.
• Communication Skills: Effective communicator with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Commitment to Patient Care: Dedicated to gold-standard medicine and patient-first decision-making.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of hospital operations, including budgeting, inventory management, and strategic planning.
