Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall success of the Sales team to maximize total revenue and ensure sales goals are met and exceeded
- Establish a client base and cultivate relationships, building business, and provide a stable and positive work environment for the team
- Spend a significant amount of time out of the hotel surveying market and comp set/neighboring hotels, researching new clients/opportunities, and knowing the market and its environment
- Observe local trends in the market
- Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads.
- Supporting and Developing the Sales Managers
- Minimum 7 years of Sales Experience
- Experience in Budget Preparation, Forecasting, Revenue Generation, Analytics, Coaching, and management of Sales Teams
- Any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered, or other sales experience
- Past hotel Director of Sales experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs, and resolve complaints
- Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections
- Detail-oriented.
- Salary - $80,000 to $90,000

- Hybrid - three days at the hotel and two at home.
