- Install, service, and repair commercial fire alarm systems and life safety devices
- Program or reprogram systems using computers and dedicated programming tools
- Test, inspect, and verify functionality of alarm panels, strobes, horns, sirens, and other devices
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate records and submit required paperwork daily
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasionally oversee other technicians
- High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Electronics or 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to obtain NICET II certification within 2 years of hire
- Must qualify for required state licenses or certifications related to the security industry
- Positive, team-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to follow procedures, work independently, and problem-solve in the field
- Notifier, Simplex, EST, or similar fire alarm systems
- Video Surveillance / CCTV systems
- Access Control systems
- Nurse Call systems
