What You’ll Do
- Oversee and support all daily back-of-house operations
- Lead service execution and maintain high standards during peak volume
- Partner with the Executive Chef on menu execution, systems, and performance initiatives
- Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and line cooks
- Drive consistency in quality, plating, and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and food cost control
- Help refine systems and processes following a successful opening
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and professional kitchen culture
- 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume upscale or upscale casual concept
- Experience at the Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef level preferred
- Strong culinary technique and attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead large teams under pressure
- Solid understanding of food cost, labor management, and operational controls
- Hands-on, team-first leadership style
