Director Of Finance Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, revenue, cage operations, and asset accounting
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and the protection of company assets
• Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting to support short- and long-term planning
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Develop, lead, and mentor the finance team, maintaining high performance and morale
• Enforce financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
• Partner with executive leadership and vendors on financial planning and operational strategy
• Monitor payroll, expenditures, and revenue performance to ensure profitability
• Maintain a general awareness of casino operations and performance at all times
  
  

Director Of Finance Qualifications

• CPA preferred but a degree is mandatory in accounting and/or finance
• 5 years of recent, relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Must be able to apply for a Colorado Driver’s License and a clean driving record
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License
