Civil Design Drafter (Mid-Level)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Civil Design Drafter to support civil engineering projects through the preparation of accurate, high-quality construction documents. This role is suited for a drafting professional with solid civil/site experience who can work independently on routine tasks while supporting engineers on more complex designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil drawings, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans
• Draft construction documents using AutoCAD in accordance with company standards
• Apply survey data, base mapping, and design surfaces to plan development
• Support engineers and project managers with redlines, revisions, and coordination
• Assist with quantity take-offs and plan set organization
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all drawings
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field
• 3 years of civil drafting or design support experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with civil/site design exposure
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey information
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Land development or site civil project experience
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, and utility design
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, or GIS tools
