Now Hiring! Goodwill TalentBridge partnering with a respected, mission-driven human services organization to find a Financial Analyst/Accountant who is excited to go beyond traditional accounting and support programs that truly make a difference in the community.

Schedule: M-FRI; 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time; Contract to Hire

Pay: starting at $29.00 /HR - *pay is based on experience and is determined by our client!


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage funding source billings, requisitions, and periodic financial reports
  • Reconcile expenses against authorized funding and track payments
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable subsidiary ledger, including transaction entry and payment application
  • Support general ledger activity, including month-end close and discrepancy resolution
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with the preparation and ongoing management of annual budgets
  • Provide financial analysis, projections, and grant monitoring support to Program Directors and leadership
  • Partner with program leadership to review financial performance and budget status
  • Assist in preparation for annual audit processes
  • Collaborate with external agencies and funding partners
  • Support training initiatives and contribute to special projects as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2 years of hands-on accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working within accounting/reporting systems
  • Confident communicator who can partner across teams and engage with external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical thinker who takes initiative, solves problems, and owns their work
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams and communities


(Preferred):

  • Nonprofit and/or grant accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
