JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for cleaning assigned areas within federal contract buildings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic custodial duties in a timely, safe and professional manner.
- Vacuum, dust mop, sweep, and wet mop floors.
- Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures and supply with paper and soap products.
- Empty trash in assigned areas. Secure liners to contract specifications.
- Dust and clean walls, windows, woodwork and above floor surfaces.
- Dust, clean and polish furniture.
- Clean elevators and stairwells.
- Observe proper safety precautions in use of equipment and supplies.
- Work with all cleaning chemicals in a safe manner.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers and participants.
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be able to understand and follow training instructions
- Must be able to work with mild cleaning chemicals, utilizing proper personal protective equipment in a safe manner
