Position Title: Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist

Location: Colonial Parking, Wilmington, Delaware

Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.60 - $24.04 Depending on Experience

Position Summary:
Handles accounts payables and receivables, customer service, and other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Accounts payable – Receiving AP Invoices, Distributing for coding and Approval, Checking for correct coding, Entering, Scanning and attaching AP Invoices, Running and Checking AP Edit Reports, Mailing out checks with necessary backup and Filing check stubs with backup.
• Paying Delmarva Invoices on line and entering into Accounting Software
• Creating Deposits and Entering cash receipts for Accounts Receivable
• Address and resolve discrepancies between payments and invoices
• Monitor aged accounts receivable and following up on Past Due AR Invoices
• Monthly cancellation list
• Generate and distribute invoices accurately and on time for miscellaneous items such as validations, State of Delaware, etc. to related entities
• Preparing documentation for monthly Parking ticket auditing and taking notes
• Tracking and maintaining schedules for real eastate taxes and business license renewals
• Customer Service
• Daily (Transient Revenue) entry and Reconciliation
• Other job tesks as needed

Requied Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments
• Knowledge and experience with current financial software. Sage Intacct a plus.
• Excellent organizational, time management skills, and strong communciation skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to master new tasks quickly.

Education:

• Associate degree or Certified Accounts Payable Associates (CAPA) and Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
