POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Position Expectations
The Digital Recycling Specialist manages and executes the Electronics Refurbishing and Recycling program to achieve maximum production and revenue goals. This position will work closely with our Refurbishing team to identify and set aside potential inventory/resources.
Responsibilities
Examines all donations of computers and computer peripherals for high-value components that are suitable for refurbishment.
Tests components with diagnostic software to determine viability for refurbishment.
Prepares shipments for recycling program in accordance with all program requirements.
Maintains a clean and neat work area.
Maintains accountabilities for all secured merchandise.
When able, assists in computer de-manufacturing to take advantage of component recycling,
and revenue opportunities.
Maintain inventory of all equipment back stocked for internal use.
Coordinate and collaborate with Refurbishing team to maximize listing revenue.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Experience, and Requirements
High school/ GED completion preferred.
Proven reliability in meeting attendance expectations.
Must be able to continuously perform repetitive work, at a set pace.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.
Bilingual a plus.
Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.
Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
Environmental Factors
Duties will be conducted at the retail store, warehouse, or other assigned Goodwill locations where no cooling or heating will be available. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, animal hair and sometimes humidity.
Physical Factors
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling.
