Janitor Admin
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Cleans both Corporate and Behavioral Health facilities thoroughly and routinely. Perform cleaning of area stores breakrooms/bathrooms monthly. Assist with other janitorial and general maintenance/grounds duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (NOTE: Qualified persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Reasonable accommodation will be made.)
1. Clean restroom, halls, entryways, windows, offices and cafeteria daily.
2. Empty trash from offices, meeting rooms, board rooms, cafeteria, restrooms, and outside smoking/break areas daily.
3. Sweep halls, entryways, cafeterias, kitchen and restrooms daily.
4. Mop halls, entryways, cafeterias, kitchen and restrooms daily.
5. Vacuum heavy-trafficked carpeted areas daily; others weekly/bi-weekly as scheduled.
6. Deep cleaning of all areas on a scheduled basis.
7. Clean area stores breakrooms/bathrooms monthly.
8. Set up/tear down meeting rooms and cleans rooms as scheduled.
9. Snow/ice removal from walkways as warranted.
10. Follow all safety regulations regarding cleanup of spills/bloodborne pathogens and bodily waste (PPE worn).
11. Maintain cleaning/vacuuming equipment.
12. Report any/all maintenance issues to department director.
13. Weed pulling, window washing, and some moving of furniture.
14. Perform semi-annual deep cleaning of the Corporate facility, Behavioral Health facility and other selected Goodwill facilities as assigned.
15. Perform work activities in conformance to Goodwill Values Statement which includes the values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Learning, Teamwork and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
16. Immediately report any wrongdoing, unethical or improper conduct, fraud, fiscal mismanagement or misappropriation of funds, etc. (Refer to the Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure for instructions on how to report.)
17. Encourage and do not hinder in any way an employee making a report pertaining to Goodwills Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure or making a report of work injury.
18. Ensure no employee is retaliated against in any way as a result of making a report related to Goodwills Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure or making a report of work injury.

20. Timely arrival at the workplace and consistent attendance.
21. Perform other janitorial related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous verifiable successful janitorial experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Visual acuity, depth perception and field of vision within normal range.
2. Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and move safely about the work area.
3. Has the stamina to do physical tasks of cleaning as a major part of each days work.
4. Ability to stand, bend, crouch, climb, push and pull.
5. Dexterity necessary to use equipment necessary for cleaning.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Must be able to change routine in a positive manner.
2. Ability to make decisions using standards that can be checked.
3. Must be capable of following through with assignments independently or with supervision.
