Role and Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate e-commerce staff; foster a positive, mission-driven environment.
- Operations & Fulfillment: Manage daily operations including processing, photography, listing creation, inventory placement, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Sales & Merchandising: Drive online revenue, optimize listings (descriptions, photos), research product values (vintage, electronics), and manage online marketplaces (eBay, ShopGoodwill).
- Performance & Strategy: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), set goals, manage budgets, and implement strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and issues, ensuring high satisfaction and adherence to standards.
- Inventory & Quality: Ensure proper handling, listing quality, and accuracy for a diverse range of donated items.
- Collaboration: Work with retail stores, marketing, and other departments to integrate online and offline efforts.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities over the retail staff including the Assistant Manager, Retail Supervisor, Merchandise Processors & Sales Associates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- E-Commerce platform knowledge (eBay, Amazon, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team development.
- Data analysis and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) & merchandising.
- Product knowledge (vintage, collectibles, electronics).
- Fast-paced warehouse/operations experience (lifting, standing)
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- High School Diploma/ G.E.D Equivalent required
- Two to three years of previous retail progressive management experience supervising several departments and/or staff of 15 or more employees.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in retail or equivalent industry.
- Experience selecting, assessing, coaching, and developing associates, preferably in a retail environment.
- Full P L ownership.
- Proficiency in setting and managing schedules for store staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Broad knowledge of the thrift and resale industry and ability to react competitively.
- Highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity.
- Ability to perform the same functions that direct reports perform.
- Ability to complete necessary paperwork and reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to motivate the team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in handling day-to-day situations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbing for prolonged periods of time (up to 7 hours- per 8-hour shift).

- Ability to bend and twist.
- Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).

Salary : $70,000 - $74,999
