Key Holder/Sales Associate

Position Title: Key Holder, Rutland, VT

FLSA: Non-Exempt (Full-Time)

Pay: $16.00/HR

Summary Description:
Goodwill is searching for a Key Holder in Rutland, VT . If you are an organized high energy person with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced clothing/wares retail environment, then we are interested in hearing from you.

Summary Description:

• Opening and closing procedures
• Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, small household wares, novelty items, books, toys, decorations, and sporting goods to determine sale ability.
• Provide customer service in a friendly manner (greeting, selling, telephone etiquette, etc.).
• Perform stock duties such as hanging garments, placing them on the appropriate rack and keeping the pulling system up to date.
• Ensure that Goodwill quality control standards are met (textiles, misc., furniture).
• Complete reports accurately as assigned (donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer).
• Price merchandise according to prescribed criteria.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale.
• Follow the dress code as directed by Goodwill and display a professional image and attitude.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the store Manager, Assistant, or Supervisor.
• Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain the same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or general education degree with courses in Business or Marketing

· Minimum of three years of retail experience in a clothing/ home goods management w/ supervisory experience.

· Excellent leadership and management skills, strong written and oral communication

· Basic computer literacy—e-mail, internet, word processing

· Prior supervisory experience

Full time 40 hours
